Everard & Wang brand story

From the earliest memory, when a little girl would play with dolls, Wang Lei is only interested in jewellery. When 4 or 5 years old Wang Lei, quiet as a mouse, with time to play throughout the afternoon, plays with things found from all over house and turns them into chains, beads, stones, etc and in making jewellery happily enjoys this most innocent 'creative' time. 

Later at 13 years old she feels even clearer goal in her life is to become a designer.  Just over 20 years old, and at the urging of friends, she opens the first boutique in the then little known ‘Hou Hai’ area of Beijing.  Once the boutique is open she is the driving force for collecting the clothes, accessories, and object d’art as well as designing and making jewelry with her own hands.  This jewelry is soon a best seller in the boutique; Wang Lei receives a great boost and a positive outlook from this. 

In 2008 she and her husband, Ariel Everard, want to do something different so naturally the ‘Everard & Wang’ jewellery brand is born!
